Wards and Damage are the name of the game as Annie and Draven dominate Demacia to secure the win for Noxus.
Team Composition: Demacia | Noxus
Top Lane: Xin Zhao (The Last Magi) | Darius (HostileIntention)
Jungle: Jarvan IV (Plutotian) | Sion (UnicornKing)
Mid Lane: Lux (Grimoire) | Annie (Rekesh)
AD Carry: Vayne (Fapotu) | Draven (xSeth)
Support: Garen (Abawmb) | LeBlanc (albableat)
Pre Game Analysis: Demacia seems to bring a very standard team, which
is normally very heavy on teamfighting and bring a lot of Crowd
Control abilities. As this shows, they need a later game, while
Noxus, as usual, needs a strong early game to pull through and end
the game before it even begins.
Demacia would make quick work of the first blood potential, as a
great 5 man invasion near blue buff would dominate Darius and give
the “heroes” first blood as they would head back to their lanes.
Jarvan would try
to move towards the bottom lane for the first gank, and after a very
long fight in bottom that resulted in nothing, LeBlanc and Draven
would dive back in to finally get the kill on Vayne due to the pure
burst of support LeBlanc, giving Noxus a small lead about 5 minutes
into the match. Meanwhile, about a minute later, Sion and Annie would
burst Lux with everything they had, and despite having the barrier,
Annie would finally pick up the kill on Lux, and then Annie and Sion
would quickly turn towards the top lane, giving Darius a kill onto
Xin Zhao to give Darius a chance in the top lane. With support Garen,
Demacia could not fight the early game power of Noxus, giving Draven
his first kill of the game onto Vayne and giving Noxus a 2,000 gold
lead 8 minutes in.
Demacia would
finally get themselves back into the game 10 minutes in, as Jarvan
would stroll down into the bottom lane to help out Vayne and Garen.
Despite the two tanks falling, Vayne would be able to pick up a
double kill for herself, quickly getting her back into the game.
Meanwhile, as Jarvan was working his magic in the bottom lane, Annie
would move up to top lane quickly to pick off Xin Zhao, and as Sion
would move into the Demacian jungle to steal wraiths, Lux and Jarvan
would find a very potent Annie at this time, who would turn a double
kill, giving Noxus now a 3.5k gold lead at 12 minutes, and throwing
Demacia into a defensive mindset.
Noxus would
continue to apply the pressure, throwing everything they had at the
bottom lane of Demacia while the Demacians would have to bring all 5
of their members to defend. Despite getting a shut down onto Annie,
she would pick up a kill and Draven would also move up to 5/1/1
before 15 minutes, while Darius would begin to get the Creep Score
lead over Xin Zhao after originally being behind. After the fight,
Darius would then move bottom to help with dragon fights, while Annie
and Draven continued to use their power to grab kills on the
Demacians, and get the first dragon at 16:30, giving Noxus a solid 7k
gold lead.
Noxus continued
to use their early game coordination and strength to continue pushing
down objectives while Draven and Darius would farm themselves up,
allowing for such a powerful push for Noxus into their power parts of
the game. With over a 12k gold advantage at the 20 minute mark, it
was almost assured that Noxus was going to dominate this game and
they really came to play. The wards also showed that Noxus knew where
the enemy team was going while Demacia continued to guess where the
enemy was, and Noxus would continue to decimate their counterparts.
Finally, at 33:30, Noxus would dominate the Demacians in one last
team fight, allowing Noxus to seal the victory:
Final Scores/VOD
MVP of the Game:
Rekesh on Annie (Noxus)
Nobody looked
stronger in this game (except for perhaps Draven), than Rekesh on
Annie, with constant bursting of champions, incredible ganking
potential while continually decimating Lux in the middle lane. The
evil city-state of Noxus won easily due to the power of a little
girl.
I would like to register my complaint at the representation of Noxus as "the evil City state"!
